You want quality beef and an amazing atmosphere Hit up BigZ burger joint the staff is friendly the food is great and it will keep you coming back for more. I dont even want to touch on there sauces that will blow your mind away. My vote stays loyal with the true # 1 burger joint in Texas. Make it Dirty for a dollar

You got it all wrong people. The best burgers in SA are at the Yard House and Roaring Fork. Yard House has a burger called the Surf and Turf that's priced right around $15 and worth every penny.

We did a similar venture with some friends searching for the best burger in San Antonio. Not exactly known for a "burger joint", we found our best burger at Scenic Loop Cafe. Chris Madrid's was a very close second.

I don't know what most of these young computer posting kids know about burgers.............but a good burger needs a little grease and a lot of cheese dripping off of it. Armadillo's, Chris Madrid's, Sam's Burger Joint and Lord's Kitchen fit the bill! You youngsters stick to Gourmet Burger and Big'z. I'll eat the good stuff!! Now, how about hot dogs? Jerry's Dogs on Commerce is numero uno!!

Check out "La Tuna" in downtown. I bet their burgers will go directly to your Top 10 after you've tried them. I know it is not a burger joint but I think its worth the "Tag". Enjoy!

Chris Madrid's should not be number one or even in the top ten!!!! I am a huge burger lover & went to Madrid's on your recommendation! The food was awful & lacked any real flavor!!! I've had better burgers from McDonald's!!!

I totalee agree about GUILLERMOS - Bacon Blue Cheese Burger is Awesome ... but the buns take it OVER THE TOP!!! Ain't no butterkrust storebought bun here ... just wish they still had the lamb burger.

Year after year, Chris Madrid's comes out at the top of burger rankings in this town. I don't get it. Their burgers are greasy; even their cheese is greasy. But that seems to be what many people want.

Luckily for the rest of us, there are lots of better places around, that also make your list, and we don't have to go to Madrid's.
